Updated OpenLink Installers for macOS Catalina (10.15.x)
Following the recent release of macOS Catalina 10.15.x, where support for 32bit applications has been dropped, the following issues have been identified with the OpenLink UDA Release 7 and earlier installers:
- The OpenLink UDA ODBC Drivers fail to register in the ODBC Administrator
- The OpenLink License Manager (oplmgr) fails to start
A new set of OpenLink UDA Release 8.0 installers with fixes for these issues are now available for user download.
New users installing the OpenLink UDA Release 7 or earlier installers for macOS on Catalina for the first time are affected by both points 1 & 2 above.
If upgrading an existing macOS installation with the OpenLink Release 7 or earlier drivers installed, to macOS Catalina then point 2 would occur. An updated 64bit OpenLink License Manager DMG installer is now available that can be installed to resolve this problem.
