Mutlicore support for sparql queries

Hello,
Does Virtuoso 7 (or 8) offer mutlicore support for sparql queries?
I have to choose between a server with 2.4 GHz CPU(20 cores) and another one with 3.7GHz CPU (8 cores).

This is my question, Is Virtuoso able to run the same SPARQL query in parallel (using all the cpu cores)?
