CardDav with SQL Interface

Greetings.

I’ve been searching for a product that can serve CardDAV and offer a SQL interface for editing the contacts and Virtuoso was pointed out as having this capability. Is this a true statement? I’m going to have to spend some efforts getting this worked out, but before I dive in I’m hoping someone can confirm this concept is actually a possibility.

The idea is that my database developer will be able to just add or remove records from a table and my users will just access their native phone address book to view that data.

Yes, it is possible.

Virtuoso supports the CardDAV protocol as part of the ODS-AddressBook add-on module, which by implication means the data behind the protocol ends up in SQL Tables :slight_smile:
